Course Description

Banking sector still remains as one of the largest employment providers in India. Around 25,000 vacancies arise every year in various categories such as Probationary Officers, Specialist Officers and Clerical Staff in both public sector and private sector banks. Majority of these vacancies are filled by conducting open recruitment on the basis of a written test.  And for officer level posts there will be a Group Discussion and interview.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts competitive exams for selection of clerical and officer level staff for all public sector banks except State Bank of India. Besides, IBPS conducts for selection of staff for Regional Rural Banks for which a separate examination is held. State Bank of India and Private Sector Banks conduct competitive exams by themselves for filling vacancies. Exams will be conducted in two stages, namely, preliminary and final.

The syllabus of clerical and probationary officer tests covers Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability, English, General and Financial Awareness and Computer Awareness.

Railway Recruitment Board Exams

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) holds recruitment exams for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) posts such as Junior Clerks, Accounts Clerk, Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Goods Guard, Assistant Station Master etc., and technical category posts such as Junior Engineers, Loco Pilots etc.

Institute conducts coaching classes for NTPC posts only.The syllabus of the RRB NTPC exams is almost the same as that of bank test.
