Project Udbhav: Rediscovering India’s Strategic Heritage

 Project Udbhav is a pioneering initiative by the Indian Army to rediscover and integrate the nation’s ancient strategic heritage into modern  military pedagogy. It is a joint collaboration between Indian Army and United Service Institution of India.

Objectives

• It focuses on indigenous military systems, historical and regional texts, and Kautilyan studies to develop an indigenous strategic vocabulary rooted in India’s multifaceted philosophical and cultural tapestry. 
• The ultimate objective is to empower the Indian Army to draw from centuries-old principles in today’s complex strategic landscape.
