Why in news: recently the Union Education Ministry asked the states to encourage the use of SATHEE platform- which is an open learning platform available for all with no cost.

• SATHEE, a Ministry of Education and IIT Kanpur collaboration, offers a free learning and assessment platform for entrance exams.
• Unlike paid coaching centres, SATHEE is accessible to students at no cost, aligning with the National Education Policy’s inclusive education goals.
• Over 5,000 students from Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and CBSE schools have registered, aiming to reach 1,00,000 students.
• It utilizes AI for personalized learning experiences, adapting to each student’s pace, aided by an AI Chabot.
• Conducts nationwide mock tests resembling the NTA’s JEE format every weekend.
• Hosts content by IIT professors, AIIMS students, available in English, Hindi, Odia, Telugu, soon expanding to 13 languages, starting with Bengali.
• SATHEE Mitras extend rural coverage for JEE and NEET aspirants.
• Plans include comprehensive NCERT syllabus coverage through lectures and live courses for Classes 9th to 12th.
